I came to writing late in life than most authors (I was too busy being a bean-counter and providing for my family – in this instance, it had to be God, Family, Corps, providing me with a perspective and an understanding of how life works that was unavailable to me earlier . . .
I believe that right now, I am the only one who can tell this story . . .
How many Marine novels do you see out there right now and over the last twenty+ years? Very, very few, and none of the scope I intend . . .
